Navajo Pro Rodeo

The 2024 Navajo Pro Rodeo has shifted from its traditional 4th of July weekend to late May and early June, allowing a broader range of Navajo rodeo athletes to showcase their talents. This change has already attracted top PRCA rodeo contestants, promising an exciting competition with a strong emphasis on Navajo participants aiming for spots in the prestigious 2024 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

The rodeo will feature the finest PRCA events, including an exciting addition: steer roping. Renowned contestants like Erich Rogers and Derrick Begay will compete, ensuring this event will be a highlight.

More Than A Rodeo

The 2024 Navajo Rodeo offers more than just thrilling rodeo action. Visitors can enjoy a variety of dining options, outdoor activities, and a marketplace featuring handmade Navajo goods. These items are curated by the Navajo Nation Tourism Department and the Navajo Nation Division of Economic Development, providing a unique opportunity to experience Navajo culture.

In addition to shopping and community events, the rodeo will also feature carnival attractions and live performances. On Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy music by the Byron Ramone Band and Stateline, adding to the festive atmosphere.
